Final Piece of the Puzzle

08-Apr-2010 We are extremely please to announce that the club has just received new funding last week from the Auckland City Council "Waiheke Community Board".

The funding was award so the club could purchase the fourth and final set of junior goals. This will now enable Waiheke United to play 4 seven aside games concurrently at the Onetangi Sports park. This dramatically increases the utilization of the park and allows us to now have all the Waiheke Teams (9 Junior/Youth) play at home on the island every second week. This thus moves us closer to realizing our major goals of building a tight knit club environment and fostering a stronger community.

A big thanks to our ACC Waiheke Community Board for enabling this to be achieved. 

First home games for the kids will be Saturday April 17th.
